Had my 2nd Alternative Processes class today and made my first Ortho-Litho positive/negative!!!! We’ll be using them to make cyanotype, Van Dyke Brown, Gum, Platinum, and wet plate prints. I almost peed myself when I found out we were going to do wet plate AND daguerreotype prints!! Gonna have use my creepy doll pictures for those…

YIKES. Finals are starting. 1 down, 3 to go. I received an A on my portfolio that I’ve been working on, and I couldn’t be happier! I intend to keep working and expanding on it, as well as adding new projects to it.

One of my latest obsession is American Horror Story. I know, lame, but It’s inspired me to go back to Pinhole Photography! I’m going for a Civil War-era look to them, maybe some tinting? We shall see.

Just saw the movie Anonymous, I expected crazy action sequences and dramatic explosions, but it was more like a Shakespeare play itself. So, now I’m going through another Shakespeare phase.

This season at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, I’m hoping to see Romeo and Juliet live for the first time. I was in a high school production as Lady Montague, I have no idea what possessed my to do that.

My favorite adaptations: 1968 and 1996. Why? The 1968 version is amazing and sticks very true to the time and ages of the people. The 1996 version is just awesome, and I love John Leguizamo. Hopefully the newest version set for 2012 starring Hailee Steinfeld as Juliet will be amazing.

This past week, I did a couple shoots for two local bands, I had a ton of fun and think they work really well with the band’s sound. So, this weekend I went to a Family Enduro my dad’s motorcycle club puts on. Pretty crazy, but I got to take pictures for them. My brother decided to bring a friend along, as well as there loud, laser-tag guns. It ended up being pretty fun, and the guys riding were awesome!
